PELOSI: Buy a $15,000 Policy or Go to Jail JCT Confirms Failure to Comply with Democrats’ Mandate Can Lead to 5 Years in Jail Friday, November 06, 2009
Today, Ranking Member of the House Ways and Means Committee Dave Camp (R-MI) released a letter from the non-partisan Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) confirming that the failure to comply with the individual mandate to buy health insurance contained in the Pelosi health care bill (H.R. 3962, as amended) could land people in jail. The JCT letter makes clear that Americans who do not maintain “acceptable health insurance coverage” and who choose not to pay the bill’s new individual mandate tax (generally 2.5% of income), are subject to numerous civil and criminal penalties, including criminal fines of up to $250,000 and imprisonment of up to five years.
In response to the JCT letter, Camp said: “This is the ultimate example of the Democrats’ command-and-control style of governing – buy what we tell you or go to jail. It is outrageous and it should be stopped immediately.”
Key excerpts from the JCT letter appear below:
“H.R. 3962 provides that an individual (or a husband and wife in the case of a joint return) who does not, at any time during the taxable year, maintain acceptable health insurance coverage for himself or herself and each of his or her qualifying children is subject to an additional tax.” [page 1]

“Criminal penalties
Prosecution is authorized under the Code for a variety of offenses. Depending on the level of the noncompliance, the following penalties could apply to an individual:
• Section 7203 – misdemeanor willful failure to pay is punishable by a fine of up to $25,000 and/or imprisonment of up to one year.
• Section 7201 – felony willful evasion is punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and/or imprisonment of up to five years.” [page 3]
When confronted with this same issue during its consideration of a similar individual mandate tax, the Senate Finance Committee worked on a bipartisan basis to include language in its bill that shielded Americans from civil and criminal penalties. The Pelosi bill, however, contains no similar language protecting American citizens from civil and criminal tax penalties that could include a $250,000 fine and five years in jail.
“The Senate Finance Committee had the good sense to eliminate the extreme penalty of incarceration. Speaker Pelosi’s decision to leave in the jail time provision is a threat to every family who cannot afford the $15,000 premium her plan creates. Fortunately, Republicans have an alternative that will lower health insurance costs without raising taxes or cutting Medicare,” said Camp.
According to the Congressional Budget Office the lowest cost family non-group plan under the Speaker’s bill would cost $15,000 in 2016.
"V" MOVIE TAKEN DOWN FROM YOUTUBES SEARCH ENGINE | News
After our comparison of ABC's mini series "V" to the Obama Administration, we went to Youtube.com to see if we could find a particular scene. We typed in Youtubes search engine "V movie abc". It gave a scroll down list of all types of tags for the new movie but when you click on one of them, there is no video there to play.
On the day ABC premiered "V" we noticed several news outlets and blogs around the country noticing the similarities, (as we had), of the movie to the Obama Admin..
ABC had a huge internet marketing campaign on Youtube about the mini series. There were hundreds of videos about the "V" movie and now they suddenly disappear from their search engine. Even videos of the old 1984 mini series vanished.
As we looked further, we did find some videos on the new series on youtube but not through their search engine. We had to link there from other blogs.
We were told that a portion of the following scene in the below video was even removed from the movie that aired last Tuesday night.
Does the Obama administration have the power to tell a website to hide video's that portray them in a bad way?
We hope the national media picks up on this or are they too part of the cover up?

"V", a must see! I remember when this mini series came out in the 80's. If this remake is anything like it, it will remind you of how the Democrat Party suckers in the youth.
In "V", the "Visitors", con Americans into becoming so called "Peace Ambassadors". These peace ambassadors try to coax others to join the Visitors. But a terrible ending awaits these mis-guided Americans for they are actually the dinner for a reptilian race.

Vice Chairman Dr. Tim Johnson has been working dilligently to hold the NC GOP to the party platform and the principles sold to registered Republicans. But some members of the State Exectutive Committee want to keep taking the crumbs of the Democrats.
At 1:20 PM today, Chairman Fetzer put the Executive Committee Meeting behind closed doors asking regular members of the Republican Party to step outside.
In our opinion, Fetzer wants to silence Dr. Johnson and the meeting was about that today. MORE TO COME.......
As I write this I am in the process of packing my family to move to West Virginia. I have no desire to leave the state in which my family first settled over 300 years ago shortly after arriving from British Antigua, however, there is nothing left for me here and I am not alone. Continued...
The Carolina Stompers is offering $500.00 for a video that was supposedly taken at the Rainbow Mountain Childrens School on Haywood Rd. in the West Asheville community. This video was supposed to have been taken around the time that Barrack Obama came to Asheville during his campaign. This video was on Youtube at one time but has been taken down.
It was reported to us, that the Obama Campaign asked the person that posted the video to remove it.
